Padovano launches book on his work
O Arquiteto e Urbanista, além de Professor Titular da FAUUSP, Bruno Roberto Padovano, lança hoje, na Livraria Saraiva do Pátio Higienópoils em São Paulo o livro "Bruno Roberto Padovano: arquitetura e a cidade", editado pela J.J. Carol. O livro, que tem prefácios de Catão Francisco Ribeiro, Geraldo Gomes Serra, Nestor Goulart Reis Filho e de seus tios, titulares também junto ao Master de Arquitetura e Território Sustentáveis do Politécnico de Milão, Cesare Blasi e Gabriella Padovano (também membros da e-DAU). O livro, cujo projeto gráfico coube ao colega de e-DAU, Alexandre Romão, cobre quatro décadas de atividades familiares, acadêmicas, institucionais e profissionais, com destaque para seus projetos na China e edifícios e projetos urbanos como o Centro de Cultura e Lazer do SESC / Nova Iguaçu, RJ. no Rio de Janeiro e a Requalificação Urbana do Centro Comercial Alphaville, em Barueri, SP. Padovano, que é também músico, compositor e cantor, fecha seu livro com as letras de um novo álbum com 14 músicas inéditas, "CompleXcity", a ser lançado pelas mídias sociais no final de 2018. Criador do Instituto para o Desenho Avançado IDEA (1992) e da rede e-DAU (2008), Padovano afirma em seu livro acreditar no trabalho cooperativo entre profissionais de várias formações para lidar com os temas complexos da cidade contemporânea.

Bruno Roberto Padovano, Architect and Urbanist, as well as Full Professor of Architecture at FAUUP, launches today, at the Saraiva Bookstore of the Patio Higienopolis in Sao Paulo the book: "Bruno Roberto Padovano: architecture and the city". edited by J.J. Carol. The book, with prefaces by Catao Francisco Ribeiro. Gerado Gomes Serra, Nestor Goulart Reis Filho and his uncle and aunt, also Full Professors of the Master of Sustainable Architecture and Territory at the Milan Politechnic (and members of e-DAU, as well). The book, with graphic design by his colleague at e-DAU, Alexandre Romão, covers four decades of family, academic, institutional and professional activities, with highlights such as architectural and urban design work in China and the award-winning SESC Nova Iguaçu Cultural and Recreational Center in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, and the Urban Requalification of the Alphaville Commercial Center in Barueri. Padovano, who is also a musician, composer and singer, ends his book with the words of a new album with 14 original songs, "CompleXcity", to be launched trough the social medias at the end of 2018. Creator of the Institute for Advanced Design IDEA (1992) and of the e-DAU network (2008), Padovano states i his book that he believes in the cooperative work between professionals from different backgrounds in order to deal with the complex themes of the contemporary city.
