The Maringa Intermodal Terminal, designed by Borelli and Merigo, will be inaugurated soon

Com sua arquitetura e solução urbanística concebidas e projetadas pelos membros da e-DAU, José Borelli Neto e Hércules Merigo, e construído no terreno onde antes havia o terminal urbano de ônibus (entre as avenidas Horacio Racanelo Filho e Tamandaré), o Terminal Intermodal de Maringá surge como um equipamento urbano contemporâneo e necessário para os transporte desta importante cidade no estado brasileiro do Paraná. No primeiro pavimento foi projetada uma área comercial que é o elo de ligação entre o terminal urbano e a estação de VLT (Veículo Leve sobre Trilhos) essa fica enterrada nas margens da avenida Horacio Racanelo Filho. Com área total de aprox. 23 mil m2, o terminal deverá ser inaugurado em breve, no segundo semestre de 2019.
With its architecture and urban design solution conceived and developed by e-DAU members, José Borelli Neto and Hercules Merigo, and built on the site where originally the urban bus terminal was located, between the Horacio Racanelo Filho and the Tamandare avenues, the latter was completely demolished to give way to a new building which contemplates an entirely new terminal, with more than twice its capacity today. On the first floor a commercial area was designed which is the link between the urban terminal and the LRV (Light Rail Vehicle) station, which is placed underground at the side of the Moracio Racanelo Filho. With a total built area of approx. 23.000 sq.m., the terminal will be soon inaugurated, this second semestre of 2019.
