Live e-DAU with Eleonora Zioni, presents environments which promove physical, mental and social health

No dia 1º de outubro, Eleonora Zioni, Consultora em Planejamento Hospitalar e Design Sustentável da e-DAU, apresentou o tema “Arquitetura Saudável: ambientes terapêuticos e biofilia”. Esse tema transcende os ambientes hospitalares e clínicos para tratar das relações entre pessoas, processos e ambientes nas escalas da saúde individual, da saúde pública e da saúde global.
Nesse sentido, a promoção da saúde em ambientes físicos transformados pelo ser humano – muitas vezes pela ação de Designers, Arquitetos e Urbanistas – aproxima-se da sustentabilidade, almejada pelos membros da e-DAU. Na escala da saúde individual, a mais próxima de nossas atividades cotidianas, percebemos presente a qualidade da arquitetura por meio das sensações trazidas pelo conforto térmico, pelo conforto lumínico e pelo conforto acústico. Como um termo qualitativo único, podemos falar de um conforto humano.
No cenário de pandemia em que as reuniões abertas e-DAU têm sido realizadas, ficou mais evidente as demandas que temos enquanto habitantes de espaços confinados, segregados do ambiente natural. Mesmo nesses espaços, os elementos da natureza precisam estar presentes, quer seja por um desenho de sol no piso, uma planta permanente na parede ou um painel com aspecto de madeira. Essa biofilia com que os ambientes internos devem ser projetados ganha ainda maior importância em ambientes terapêuticos.
Os princípios de Ambientes Terapêuticos, segundo nos mostrou a Eleonora, são arraigados nos valores de respeito, gentileza, privacidade, acesso à informação, autonomia, poder de escolha e inclusão. Frente a essas questões, a atuação em rede indica, desde logo, uma predisposição dos membros da e-DAU à colaboração, à empatia e à sensibilidade. Acreditamos que o conhecimento de nossa consultora, transmitido publicamente na e-DAU Live disponibilizada no YouTube, vem ao encontro das demais ações colaborativas sustentáveis que a rede desenvolve, as quais lidam – em sua complexidade – com as diversas escalas do lugar e da saúde.
On October 1, Eleonora Zioni, Consultant in Hospital Planning and Sustainable Design at e-DAU, presented the theme: "Healthy Architecture: therapeutic environments and biophilia". This theme transcends hospital and clinical environments to treat relationships between people, processes and environments at the scale of individual, public and global health.
For that matter, the promotion of health in physical environments transformed by human beings - often due to the action of Designers, Architects and Urbanists - draws close to sustainability, as desired by e-DAU members. At the scale of individual health, the closest of our daily activities, we perceive the presence of the quality of architecture through the sensations brought by thermal, lighting and acoustical comfort. As a unique qualitative term, we can speak of human comfort.
Within the context of a pandemic in which the open e-DAU lives have taken place, the demands we share as inhabitants of confined spaces, segregated from the natural ones, has become increasingly evident. Even in such spaces, the elements of nature must be present, whether for the drawing of the sun on the floor, a permanent plant on the wall or a panel with the semblance of wood. This biophilia with which internal environments must be designed gains even a greater importance in therapeutic spaces.
The principles of Therapeutic Environments, as Eleonora showed us, are rooted in the values of respect, kindness, privacy, access to information, autonomy, power of choice and inclusion. Facing such issues the action through a network points at, from the outset, a predisposition by e-DAU members towards collaboration, empathy and sensibility. We believe that the knowledge of our consultant, transmitted publicly through the e-DAU Live, available on YouTube, moves towards other collaborative and sustainable actions which the network develops, that deal with - in their complexity - the different scales of places and health.
