Joice Joppert Leal strengthens her role as e-DAU's Counselor

Uma verdadeira líder nos campos do Design Brasileiro e da Economia Criativa, pelo seu imenso trabalho a favor dessas áreas pela sua Oscip no país e exterior, a 'Associação Objeto Brasil' e do 'Instituto Brasil de Economia Criativa - IBRAEC', Joice Joppert Leal vem fortalecendo seu papel como Conselheira na rede e-DAU, encaminhando notícias sobre novas iniciativas e eventos pelas mídias da rede, para o deleite e informação de seus membros. Com uma impressionante atuação na sua promoção, que inclui exposições que marcaram seu tempo, como “Objeto Brasil, 500 Anos de Design” na Pinacoteca da Luz (2000) e a "Brasil – Essencialmente Diverso" em Milão', com mais de 400 produtos brasileiros (2019), Joice é atualmente membro convidada por entidades internacionais como a do ICSID (Conselho Internacional de Sociedades de Desenho Industrial), da IDSA (Sociedade de Designers Industriais da América) e do IFI (Federação Internacional de Arquitetura e Design de Interiores). Coordenando inúmeras exposições e realizando premiações que consagraram vários designers brasileiros, ao introduzir o Prêmio IDEA no Brasil, Joice realizou nada menos que sete edições dessa premiação em parceria com a Apex Brasil e a chancela da IDSA, a partir de 2008, que levaram o Brasil a brilhar em eventos internacionais com seus produtos, itinerantes em 12 cidades na Fórmula Indy, e diversas realizações por designers brasileiros, no atual século. De sobra, Joice é autora e curadora de diversos livros de Design, entre eles: “Um Olhar sobre o Design Brasileiro” (2002) com edições em português e inglês, lançado em Lisboa, Milão, Roma, Londres, Paris e Tóquio, e promove atualmente palestras e seminários sobre o Design. Lembro ainda que, ao longo de sua brilhante carreira, Joice atuou ao lado de mestres como Ernesto Hauner, Michel Arnault e um dos maiores nomes brasileiros e internacionais nessa área, Sérgio Rodrigues, de quem foi sócia de 1969 até 1974. É uma honra para a e-DAU ter a Joice conosco, uma verdadeira luz-guia para o futuro da nossa profissão no país e no mundo!
A true leader in the fields of Brazilian Design and Creative Economy, due to her immense work in their favour through her Civil Society of Public Interest (Oscip), the 'Association Objeto Brasil' and the 'Institute Brazil of Creative Economy - IBRAEC', Joice Joppert Leal has been strengthening her role as Counselor of the e-DAU network, forwarding news about new initiatives and events through our network's media, for the delight and information of its members. With an impressive performance in their promotion, which includes exhibitions that marked their moments, such as “Object Brazil, 500 Years of Design” held at the Luz Art Museum (2000) and the "Brazil – Essentially Different" in Milan, with more than 400 Brazilian products (2019), Joice is currently an invited member of international entities such as ICSID (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design), IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America) and IFI – International Federation of Architecture and Interior Design. Coordinating countless exhibitions and promoting awards which enshrined various Brazilian designers, by introducing the IDEA prize in Brazil, Joice directed no less than seven editions of this award in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the stamp of IDSA, beginning in 2008, which made Brazil shine in international events with its products and different achievements by Brazilian designers, in the current century. Adding to all this, Joice is the author and curator of the launch of various books on Design, amongst which "An Overview of Brazilian Design" (2002) with portuguese and english, launched in Lisbon, Milan, Rome, London, Paris and Tokyo, and she promotes currently lectures and seminars on Design. I recall, moreover, that, during her brilliant career, Joice has worked side by side with masters such as Ernesto Hauner, Michel Arnault and one of the greatest Brazilian and international names in this field, Sérgio Rodrigues. It is an honour for e-DAU to have Joice with us, a true leading light for the future of our profession in the country and worldwide.
