Fiedler and members of e-DAU join forces to help face COVID-19

Para enfrentar o coronavírus da epidemia da COVID-19, a empresa brasileira de engenharia, FIEDLER, e outros membros da equipe e-DAU, como os arquitetos e urbanistas Bruno Roberto Padovano, Hércules Merigo, José Borelli Neto e Samuel Garcia, usaram uma ideia anterior para uma tenda comunitária para refugiados na Alemanha, elaborada em 2016, para criar um 'hospital de campanha' para tratar aqueles que forem infectados e de tornarem necessitados de atendimento em uma 'UTI - Unidade de Terapia Intensiva'. Sob uma grande estrutura de 1.600 m2, em aço e membrana compósita, patenteada pela Fiedler ("HUB"), inseriram um layout elaborado pela Borelli & Merigo Arquitetos - especialistas em projetos hospitalares na rede -, para atender até 130 pacientes, simultaneamente, usando a norma brasileira RDC-50 da Anvisa - Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária. Está sendo amplamente encaminhada para autoridades brasileiras para verificar se esta opção será utilizada em vários estados do país.

To face the coronavirus of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Brazilian engineering company, FIEDLER, and other members of the e-DAU team, such as the architects and urbanists Bruno Roberto Padovano, Hércules Merigo, José Borelli Neto and Samuel Garcia, used an earlier idea for a community tent for refugees in Germany, developed in 2016, to create a 'field hospital' to treat those who might have been infected and becoming needy of treatment in an ITU - Intensive Therapy Unit. Under a large, 1,600 sq. meter composite membrane and steel tensile structure copyrighted by FIEDLER ("HUB"), they inserted layout devised by Borelli & Merigo Architects, - specialists in hospital design in the network -, dimensioned to serve up to 130 patients, simultaneously using the Brazilian legislation RSC-50 of Abvisa - National Agency of Sanitary vigilance. It is now being sent to Brazilian authorities at large to see if this option will be utilized in the country's many states.
