Borelli & Merigo see the beginning of construction of their Chapecó Airport, in January of 2021

No Dia do Arquiteto, uma excelente notícia para a rede e-DAU, a se concretizar logo no início de 2021: começarão logo mais as obras do Aeroporto 'Serafim Enoss Bertaso' de Chapecó, SC. Brasil (pop. aprox. 190 mil habitantes, pólo de uma região com mais de 2,7 milhões), seguindo o projeto dos colegas da rede, Hércules Merigo e José Borelli Neto. Os dois sócios têm uma ampla experiência no campo da arquitetura e urbanismo, com uma especialização na área aeroportuária e de terminais em geral, além da área hospitalar. A premiada e bem-sucedida dupla vai acompanhar mais uma obra, desta vez para a SOCICAM, empresa que administra o Terminal de Ônibus Interurbano do Tietê, entre outros, e que ganhou a concorrência para a concessão desse Aeroporto. Estas instalações serão usadas por dez anos quando então será construído outro terminal, com o dobro da área. Também prevê-se o aumento da pista de pouso e decolagem. Com custo previsto em R$ 30 milhões, e término em dezembro de 2021, o Aeroporto de Chapecó atesta a busca brasileira por uma infraestrutura mais moderna e eficiente, num setor nevrálgico de sua economia, num país de dimensões continentais.
On the 'Day of the Architect', excellent news for the e-DAU network, to be realized as early as the beginning of 2021: construction will start of the Airport 'Serafim Ennos Bertaso' in Chapecó, SC, Brazil (pop. approx. 190 thousand inhabitants, pole of a region with more than 2.7 millions), following the design of the network's colleagues, Hércules Merigo and José Borelli Neto. The two partners have a wide experience in the field of architecture and urbanism, with a specialization in the design of airports and terminals in general, in addition to the design of hospitals. The award-winning and succesful duo will accompany yet another work: this time for SOCICAM, company which manages the Tietê Interurban Bus Terminal , amongst others, and which won the bid for the concession of this airport. These installations will be used during ten years when a new terminal will be built, with twice its size. The increase of the landing and take-off runway area is foreseen as well. With a cost estimated at 30 million reals and ending in December, 2021, the Chapecó Airport confirms the Brazilian search for a more modern and efficient infrastructure, in a key sector of its economy, in a counrty with continental dimensions.
