Borelli &Merigo have their work for the Municipal Hospital Dr. Moysés Deutsch - M'Boi Mirim, inaugurated in Sao Paulo
Os Arquitetos e Urbanistas José Borelli e Hércules Merigo, consultores de Arquitetura da Saúde da rede e-DAU, junto com o colega Walter Mahkhol, comemoraram ontem a inauguração de seu Hospital Municipal 'Dr. Moysés Deutsch - M'Boi Mirim', em São Paulo, Brasil. Erguido em terreno de 11 ha. e tendo uma área construída de 27.000 m2, o hospital abriga 240 leitos.
O projeto arquitetônico é composto basicamente por três blocos: o Bloco Principal, a Praça de Acesso e o Bloco de Suprimentos, além do Depósito de Lixo, Depósito de GLP, Portarias 1 e 2, e Cabine de Medição. O Bloco Principal é composto por três pavimentos elevados acima do terreno, um pavimento térreo e um pavimento semi-enterrado em relação à rua, porém nivelado em relação aos fundos do terreno – embasamento, perfazendo um total de cinco pavimentos. Seu elemento de destaque é a fachada composta por módulos utilizados como brise-soleis, oferecendo conforto térmico e visual aos usuários.

The Architects and Urbanists Jose Borelli and Hercules Merigo, consultantas at the e-DAU network, together with their colleague Walter Mahkhol, commemorated yesterday the inauguration of their Municipal Hospital 'Dr. Moyses Deutsch - M'Boi Mirim', in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Erected on an 11 hectares site and with a built area of 27.000 sq. m., the hospital houses 240 beds.
The architectural design is composed basically by three blocks: the Main Block, the Access Plaza and the Supplies' Block, in addition to the Trash Deposit, the GLP Deposit, Control Gates 1 and 2, and a Measuring bBooth. The Main Block is constituted by three floors, elevated with regards to the site, a ground floor and a semi-buried floor, with regards to the street and yet leveled with the ground funds of the site-basement, adding up to five floors. Its highlight is the facade, composed by brise-soleis modules which offer thermal and visual comfort to the users.
