Bitiz Afflalo (Maria Beatriz Afflalo Brandão), é a nova Consultora em Design de Mobiliário e Sinalização Urbana na rede e-DAU, deste mês em diante. Com uma ampla experiência nessa área e tendo sido ativa ao nível profissional, educacional e institucional ao longo de sua carreira, Bitiz, com sua personalidade carismática e sempre animada, tem participado ativamente na e-DAU Núcleo Rio, organizado pelo Vice-Presidente da rede, o também designer Joaquim Redig, que a convidou e a indicou para essa importante posição. Entre suas muitas excepcionais realizações , podemos enfatizar sua participação em projetos de design de mobiliário e sinalização urbana icônicos, como os dos programas "Rio-Orla' e da 'Rio Cidade', junto a alguns dos maiores urbanistas da cidade, como Paulo Casé, Jorge Mário Jáuregui e Luiz Paulo Conde, que foi prefeito da megacidade na época. Good news from Rio de Janeiro. The urban designer, Bitiz Afflalo (Maria BeatrizAfflalo Brandão), Ph.D., is the new Consultant in Design of Urban Furniture and Signaling at the e-DAU network, as from this month onwards. With a wide experience in the field, and having performed at the professional, institutional and academic levels throughout her career. Bitiz, with her charismatic personality, and always animated, has been participating actively in the e-DAU Rio Nucleus, organized by the network's Vice-President, the also designer Joaquim Redig, who invited her and has indicated her for this important position. Amongst her many outstanding achievements, we can emphasize her participation in iconic design projects for urban furniture and signaling, such as the 'Rio-Orla' and 'Rio Cidade' programs, with some of the great urbanists in the city, such as Paulo Casé, Jorge Mário Jáuregui and Luiz Paulo Conde, who was the megacity's mayor at the time.
