Balouo Salo promotes a new competition in Sub-Saharian Africa

A ONG 'Balouo Salo', parceira institucional da e-DAU, dirigida pelo arquiteto Raoul Vecchio, anuncia a realização, em 2020, de uma nova edição da 'Competição Kaira Looro' para estudantes e arquitetos jovens, que abre dia 24 de janeiro deste ano. A competição focaliza o projeto arquitetônico de um 'Centro de Operações Emergenciais' transportável. O juri international é composto por: Kengo Kengo Kuma (Kengo Kuma & Associates), Agostino Ghirardelli (SBGA), Lígia Nunes (Architecture Sans Frontières International), Mphethi Morojele (MMA Design Studio), Walter Baricchi (CNAPPC), Philippa Nyakato Tumubweinee (University of Cape Town) e Mantey Jectey-Nyarko (Kwame Nkrumah University). The NGO 'Balouo Salo', institutional partner of e-DAU, directed by architect Raoul Vecchio, announces the realization, in 2020, of a new edition of the 'Kaira Looro Competition' for students and young architects, which opens on January 24, this year. The competition focuses the architectural design of a transportable Emergency Operations Center'. The international jury is composed by: Kengo Kengo Kuma (Kengo Kuma & Associates), Agostino Ghirardelli (SBGA), Lígia Nunes (Architecture Sans Frontières International), Mphethi Morojele (MMA Design Studio), Walter Baricchi (CNAPPC), Philippa Nyakato Tumubweinee (University of Cape Town) and Mantey Jectey-Nyarko (Kwame Nkrumah University).
