8th e-DAU Live, Lineu Passeri talks about an impeccable acoustics

Dando seguimento às Lives da rede e-DAU em 2021, a Coordenação das Relações de Pesquisa e-DAU promoveu a palestra “Os 3 passos para projetar ambientes com acústica impecável”, proferida pelo arquiteto e urbanista Lineu Passeri, Consultor em Acústica da rede. A data escolhida (19/11/2021) fez menção ao Dia da Música, celebrado no dia 22 de novembro. Pode-se dizer que, em uma sala de espetáculos, quem fala o que quer e ouve o que não quer talvez não tenha contratado um bom projetista de acústica. Isso porque a aula dada por Lineu serviu como um alerta para a necessária consideração do conforto sonoro nos projetos arquitetônicos, lidando com três passos principais: isolamento, absorção e reflexão/difusão. Esses passos foram descritos por Passeri no decorrer de sua fala, antecedidos de explicações técnicas que visaram aumentar nossos conhecimentos sobre acústica. Os exemplos oferecidos ilustraram como tratar desse tema na prática, abastecendo os ouvintes com conhecimentos diversos e atiçando a curiosidade
para o diálogo que seguiu a apresentação. É interessante notar que a metodologia empregada por Passeri no âmbito profissional foi desenvolvida em sua pesquisa de Doutorado. Nesse sentido, a apresentação disponibilizada no YouTube da e-DAU (https://youtu.be/hp3LBGBzI68) demonstra a capacidade da rede em integrar o conhecimento teórico e a prática de projeto, uma vez que a equipe é repleta de professores e pesquisadores, além de profissionais. As a continuation of the e-DAU Lives in 2021, the Coordination of Research relations at e-DAU promoted the conference "The 3 steps to design environments with impeccable acoustics", given by architect and urbanist Lineu Passeri, the network's Acoustics Consultant.
The chosen date (19/11/2021) was meant to mention the Day of Music, celebrated on November, 22. One can say that, in a concert hall, whoever speaks what he wants and hears what he doesn't want perhaps did not hire a fine acoustic designer. This is due to the fact that the talk by Lineu served as a warning for the necessary consideration of sound comfort in architectural design, dealing with three main steps: isolation, absorption and reflection/diffusion. These steps were described by Passeri along his talk, preceded by technical information which aimed at increasing our knowledge about acoustics. The offered examples illustrated how to deal with this theme in practice, feeding the listeners with diversified data and stirring the curiosity for the dialogue which followed after the presentation. It is interesting to note that the methodology used by Passeri in the professional milieu was developed in his Doctoral research. demonstrates the network's capability to integrate theoretical knowledge and design practice, since the team is filled with professors and researchers, in addition to professionals.
